LG KP500的主屏分辨率為240×432像素也就是WQVGA級別，顯示效果相當(dāng)?shù)募?xì)膩而且顏色感也很亮麗，給人一種賞心悅目的感覺。該機(jī)的屏幕鎖也比較有趣，除了側(cè)面的屏幕鎖開/關(guān)的快捷鍵外，還有一種就是觸屏解鎖——在屏幕待機(jī)的狀態(tài)下，只需根據(jù)提示按住屏幕解鎖區(qū)便可。

該機(jī)屏幕下方設(shè)置了撥號(hào)、通訊錄、短信和菜單四個(gè)快捷方式，方便了大家的基本應(yīng)用。按下?lián)芴?hào)鍵便會(huì)出現(xiàn)虛擬鍵盤，每個(gè)虛擬按鍵都比較大，很好的減少了使用中的誤操情況。并且在“顯示設(shè)置”中的“撥號(hào)”選項(xiàng)中可以調(diào)整字體的大小和顏色。
通訊錄中可以存儲(chǔ)1000位聯(lián)系人到手機(jī)中，并且支持名片格式。在每個(gè)聯(lián)系人后面都有一個(gè)綠色的電話圖標(biāo)，點(diǎn)擊該圖標(biāo)便可完成撥號(hào)，這個(gè)功能比較人性化。
LG KP500的短信功能里支持彩信和電子郵件的收發(fā)，并且能夠輕松在普通短信中插入圖片、視頻或幻燈片等，從而完成彩信的轉(zhuǎn)變。該機(jī)內(nèi)置了智能拼音輸入法配合靈敏的主屏，完全能夠滿足拇指一族對短信輸入速度的要求。
